The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone directly to that company’s website. You pay nothing extra.
Commissions help cover the running costs of this site: hosting, software, and the time that goes into researching and writing every guide. This site has no advertising, no sponsored content that isn’t disclosed, and no brand deals that affect editorial decisions. Affiliate commissions are the primary way JustMeOut.com stays free to read.

Does this affect what gets recommended
No. Whether or not an affiliate program exists for something, the recommendation on this site is based on personal experience. If a hotel was not worth staying in, it does not appear in a guide regardless of whether a commission could be earned from it. If a tour was excellent but has no affiliate program, it gets recommended anyway.
Every destination guide on JustMeOut.com is based on places Madhu has personally visited. The affiliate programs listed above exist for products and services that are already recommended because they are genuinely useful, not the other way around.
Sponsored posts, if any are ever published, are disclosed separately and clearly at the top of the post with the word “Sponsored.” A commission-earning affiliate link and a paid sponsorship are different things and are disclosed differently.
